About Us

Ninox is a leading nature club incorporating nature lovers and enthusiasts aiming to connect nature and students to develop gratitude towards nature leading to sustainability. In 2019 four students Madhur, Divyanshu, Sarang & Anurag from MITWPU came forward to propose a nature club dedicated to connecting young minds to nature through activities such as nature watching and education, nature walks, talks, workshops and participatory research for university students.

Ninox follows a citizen science framework, in which participant are encouraged to collect data on natural history through activities such as bird-watching, nature walk and deposit it in open access repositories, so as to encourage research and conservation.

Club Ninox has taken the initiative to bridge the gap between natural sciences and engineering, apart from classroom teaching. It encourages experiential learning, connecting and appreciating nature, and learning natural sciences through observations and networking with experts.
